Welcome to the Assalam Mosque in Laval
Located in the heart of the Les Touches district of Laval, the Assalam Mosque is a place of peace, spirituality, and brotherhood open to all worshippers. Since its founding, the mosque has supported the Muslims of Laval and the Mayenne region in their daily religious practice and in the transmission of Islamic values: respect, solidarity, kindness, and living together in harmony.
More than just a place of prayer, the mosque is a home for the community. Every day, worshippers gather there for the five daily prayers, Friday prayers, Ramadan evenings, Quranic studies, and moments of sharing among families, young and old.
The mosque was created to meet a fundamental need: to provide the Muslims of the region with a dignified, peaceful space suitable for the worship of Allah and the spiritual education of future generations. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers, donors, and families who have been involved for many years, this project has come to fruition in accordance with the laws of the French Republic and the values of dialogue and openness.
Today, the Assalam Mosque continues to be a place of gathering, mutual support, and fraternity. It welcomes everyone with respect and reminds us of the importance of peace, mercy, and solidarity in our society.
“The mosques of Allah are maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day.”
We ask Allah to bless this mosque, its worshippers, its volunteers, and all those who contribute to the well-being of this place of faith and peace.
